01/02/2011

Back to work so I am taking advantage of the work out time they give us. Got 30 min on the bike today to warm up. Did 60 min on the treadmill and was able to get 3.5 miles not great but at least I am doing something instead of blowing off the work out. did some weights but nothing really to report their. I think I am going to go with my Dads recommendation to do the weights first and then the cardio. Is that still good? Eating was pretty good today after the holidays anything is a good eat day, right?
Feel pretty positive as of late, I have met someone and she seems pretty great! That helps to keep a positive attitude. Just need to take it one day at a time and see how it goes, its just exciting for me and I feel like I am back in high school except not all the alcohol and bad grades.

  1. The one day at a time thing works good for me too. It's a little over the top to think long term as far as working out. For me personally I think about getting through my next workout and not about my weekly totals. We have PT three days a week which helps me get in double workouts during the week which is good for me because we do strength training on those days. Keep up the good work and get the workouts in when you can. Love ya.

  2. Your workout was great. The weights before cardio still work only if you do the cardio after. The premis is: You are fresh and can lift more weigth if you do the weights first. This also jumps start the weight loss by using up more of your sugar reserve so when you do the cardio at a level of 75 percent you are burning more fat. Keep up the workout you are doing great. love ya

  3. Bill, I am so glad to be a part of your guys blogs. It is a great inspiration to me and I can't wait until the TRI. I am trying to get a couple of trips to Sand Hollow before so we can get a feel for the place.
